Anna Trindade Falcão PhD

Bio

As an undergraduate, I studied Physics at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, in Brazil. I worked for five years as a research assistant for the Institute for Astrophysics and Computational Sciences at the Catholic University of America, earning my Ph.D. in Physics under the supervision of Steve Kraemer, where I used Hubble Space Telescope data to study the extended optical emission in the narrow-line region of supermassive active black holes.

Currently, I am a postdoc at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics working with Pepi Fabbiano, and Martin Elvis on resolved observations of feedback in nearby AGN.
